40 hours of intensive training.

Candidates must fulfill pre-requisites

Candidates apply and are selected by leadership core of current certified trainers

Candidates are selected from participants of the Family Literacy Workshop Series

Participants additionally receive a laptop for their continued training and success

Participants acquire the following:

The history of L.P.C.
-
L.P.C.'s mission and philosophy
-
Rationale, strategies, and criteria for each workshop's intended outcomes
-
Practice with each other in conducting a workshop series
-
Receive constructive feedback from experienced trainers
-
Support, encouragement and continued motivation for success
-
Coaching from experienced certified trainers
-
-
Graduates commit to at least a one year covenant agreement where they are required to fulfill:
-
Training of other parents
-
Continue the modeling of what they teach in their own children, school and family
-
Attend monthly T.O.T. meetings
-
Devise a plan for continue personal growth and development beyond their first year
-
Implement their personal "pond ownership" goals and plan with their assigned coach.
